Dail and I are getting ready to go to bed now. We have been watching Twin Peaks. We saw the pilot and then the first 3 episodes before we decided to call it a night. I was on the edge of my seat trying to catch all the shades of meaning through the story. It is fascinating. I can't believe I missed it when it was actually running. We had a great time. Dinner was good and I mostly stuck to the plan. I will weigh in tomorrow and see how things are looking.
The only downside tonight is that I have a killer sinus headache. The whole front of my face feels like it is about to explode. I don't have any sinus meds. I'm afraid what I really need is an antibiotic. I have a whole line of swollen lymph glands running up the side of my neck. I'm sure I have an infection. I will call tomorrow to see about getting in to see my doctor.
Enough for tonight.

Big Twin Peaks fan . I did see it on tv the first go round. It is unusual to say the least, but fun.
ReplyDeleteWarm moist heat might help your sinus headaches. ouch , I know how it feels.
Thanks, PJ. I will try that. I feel all stuffy and cottony in my head this morning. Plus I feel pressure and itching in my ears. Some allergy medicine might help me too. I've been sneezing my head off. I guess the change in weather from warm to cold and back is playing havoc with my allergies.
ReplyDeleteI never gaves Twin Peaks a chance when it was first released. Didn't catch my eye for some reason but I do know many people swear it is must see tv.
ReplyDeleteHope the headache stayed in bed today
I was too busy with three small children to watch TV. I am enjoying it now though. It has tragedy mixed with bizarre humor. Just up my alley.
ReplyDeleteSo, far the headache is at bay but my nose us all stuffy.
I've never watched Twin Peaks, but you'e making me want to look into it. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you get to feeling better and don't need any antibiotics!
It is really interesting, Ronnie. A mystery to be solved. Of course, I already know the ending but it is fun to watch and try to catch the hints and clues to Laura Palmer's killer. There are a lot of subtle signs and some weird hints throughout the series.
